Brain Energy LLC ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company") operates the TRUTH mobile application (the "App") and the website seetruth.app (the "Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service." This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Search Queries — When you enter an Instagram username to track, we collect and process that username to deliver results. We do not require you to create an account or provide your own Instagram credentials.
- Subscription Information — If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web payment processors (collectively "Payment Providers"). We do not directly collect or store your credit card number, bank account details, or other financial payment information. We receive a transaction confirmation, subscription status, and anonymized transaction identifiers from the Payment Providers.
- Support Communications — If you contact us via email, we collect your email address, name (if provided), and the content of your message.
- Referral Program Data — If you participate in our referral program, we collect your unique referral identifier and track successful referrals to administer rewards.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information — Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, GAID where permitted), device model, screen resolution, language setting, and timezone.
- Usage Data — Pages visited, features used, search frequency, buttons clicked, time spent in the App, session duration, and interaction patterns.
- Log Data — IP address (which may be anonymized or truncated), browser type, access times, referring URLs, and crash/error reports.
- Push Notification Tokens — If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send notifications about tracked account activity.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Analytics Providers — We use analytics tools (detailed in Section 5) that may collect data about your use of the Service, including aggregated usage statistics.
- Attribution Partners — We use mobile attribution platforms to understand how users discover and install our App, which may collect device identifiers and campaign data.
- Instagram Public Data — We access publicly available Instagram profile data (usernames, follower/following lists, post counts, profile pictures) through automated means. This data belongs to the respective Instagram users and Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not access private Instagram accounts, direct messages, passwords, or any non-public data.
1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your Instagram login credentials (username/password)
- Private Instagram account data
- Direct messages or private communications
- Biometric data
- Precise geolocation (GPS coordinates)
- Financial account numbers or payment card details
- Government-issued identification numbers
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:

- Business Transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With Your Consent — We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
4. Instagram Data & Public Information
The Service accesses publicly available Instagram data. This includes:
- Public profile information (username, display name, bio, profile picture)
- Public follower and following lists
- Public post counts and engagement metrics
We do NOT access, collect, or store:
- Private account data or content
- Instagram login credentials of any user
- Private messages, stories (unless publicly available), or hidden content
- Data from accounts set to private
The Service operates independently from Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta in any way. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
If you are an Instagram user whose public data appears in our Service and you wish to have it removed, please contact us at contact@brainenergy.app and we will process your request within 30 days.
5. Third-Party Services & SDKs
Our Service integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

6. Data Retention
- Search Queries & Results — Cached temporarily to improve performance. Automatically purged within 30 days.
- Analytics Data — Retained for up to 24 months in anonymized/aggregated form.
- Subscription Records — Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 3 years for tax and accounting compliance.
- Support Communications — Retained for up to 2 years after resolution.
- Push Notification Tokens — Retained until you disable notifications or uninstall the App.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
- Regular security assessments and monitoring
- Secure cloud infrastructure with reputable providers
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Your Rights & Choices
8.1 All Users
- Push Notifications — Disable anytime through your device settings.
- Delete Account — Use the "Delete Your Account" option in App settings or email us. All associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
- Opt-Out of Analytics — Contact us to opt out of non-essential analytics tracking.
- Unsubscribe — Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
8.2 European Economic Area (EEA) / UK Residents — GDPR Rights
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") — Request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Restriction — Request that we limit processing of your data.
- Right to Data Portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: Identifiers (device IDs, IP addresses), internet/electronic network activity (usage data, search queries), commercial information (subscription data).
We do NOT sell personal information. We do NOT use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA.
8.4 Brazilian Residents — LGPD Rights
If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, and information about shared data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8.5 Other Jurisdictions

9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries. Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, e.g., 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. 11. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) for:

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for responding to DNT signals. We do not currently respond to DNT signals, but we honor opt-out requests submitted directly to us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when changes were last made. We will notify you of material changes through the App, by email, or by posting a notice on the Website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
